    I try to understand the UltraCompare Synchronize Folders function.
    The help screen for it refers to STCD files although that pane on my version of UC for Windows (21.10.0.18, 64-bit) doesn't include a rule for them.
    What are they, and does it matter that they're absent from the Rule Customization box?

      The abbreviation STCD is explained at bottom of the power tip Sync files and folders with UltraCompare and means Same Timestamp, Content Different.

        Or Danke!  because, Austria.  :-)
        So if I understand correctly, the current version of UC has renamed that to "Diff" but with the same meaning as STCD.
