Is it possible to save a session with the folder comparison between two folders. It would be sufficient to save the two selected folder names with a session name. That way I could select some frequently used comparisons between folders.
Yes, it is possible to save a folder compare session without or with the folder paths. That's what sessions are designed for. There can be saved folder compare sessions without folder paths to use as templates for different types of folder comparisons with different options as well as folder compare sessions with folder paths for frequently compared folders. Just click in toolbar/menu mode in menu Session on menu item Save Active Session or Save Active Session As New. The session name can be defined already before in the Current Session Properties window, but also later at any time by right clicking on a saved session in Workspace Manager view on tab Sessions and clicking in context menu on Rename Session. In ribbon mode the commands Save and Save as new are on tab Home in second group Current Session in popup menu opened on clicking on the down arrow below third item Save. Just saving the currently active session can be done in ribbon mode by clicking directly on the Save symbol.
