Has anyone successfully installed UltraCompare on Ubuntu 24.04. I get an "unable to satisfy dependencies" error when I try. Installer is looking for javascriptcoregtk-4.0-18 and U24.04 installs 4.1-0
It would be best to request by email to UltraEdit support an UltraCompare DEB package for Ubuntu 24.04 and 22.04 in addition to Ubuntu 18.04 and 20.04.
I do not have Ubuntu 24.04 and so cannot suggest actions to solve this library dependency issue verified by myself.
You could try if Libjavascriptcoregtk-4.0-18 is available also for Ubuntu 24.04 instead of using the latest version 4.1 by explicitly specifying version 4.0 of this library.
You could try downloading and next installing the DEB package of Libjavascriptcoregtk-4.0-18 from Ubuntu 22.04 from Libjavascriptcoregtk-4.0-18 Download for Linux (deb).
