I'm using version 15.00.0.1043 with XP SP2.

If I close UE with the macro list visible, the next time I open UE the macro list properly shows all the macros from my auto-load file.

If I close the macro list before closing UE, the next time I open UE the macro list is blank when opened.

Can anybody explain or duplicate this problem before I submit a bug report?

Thanks. I had tried clicking in the display area, but not in the title bar. So, a major annoyance (for me, anyway) has become a minor bug. I'll report it just the same.

The issue with no macros displayed in the Macro List view after startup of UltraEdit and a macro file with multiple macros automatically loaded on startup and opening next by hotkey the Macro List view was fixed with UltraEdit 23.00.0.42 introducing the ribbon interface mode and the toolbar/menu mode with contemporary menus.

The macro list display issue was reproducible by me on Windows XP SP3 and Windows 7 SP1 up to UltraEdit 22.20.0.49 but cannot be reproduced anymore with UltraEdit 23.00.0.42 on Windows 7 or any newer UltraEdit version on Windows 7 or Windows 11 in any of the three user interface modes.
