I'm currently on UEStudio v2025.0.0.39 64-bit. Is the "Regular Expression Builder" (see above) available in UEStudio?
I only have this (see image below):

Dear UltraEdit support,
I resend this suggestion for updating a power tip sent to you already on 09/07/2025 as nothing has changed on the power tips page Regular Expression Builder in the last two months.
In one of the last newsletters was described the regular expression builder of UltraEdit with a link to the Regular Expression Builder power tip page. This power tip page has not been updated for years. I think it is time to do so.
There are nine images attached which should replace the existing eight images.
The image regular_expression_builder7.png is an additional image which should be inserted below the last sentence "Click the Next button to search your file…" and above the currently last image. The currently last image regular_expression_builder7.png on the power tips page should be replaced by the attached regular_expression_builder8.png.
I used the dark theme Slate on creating the nine images. All images have a 256 colors palette to reduce the file size of each image. The first attached image and those images showing the list of regular expression characters have one color with RGB value 255, 255, 254 (nearly white) which is set as transparent color.
The necessary text updates are:
Left to the first image the text "right arrow icon by" must be replaced by ".* icon above".
In the first note must be replaced "Regular Expressions" by "Regular expressions" (second word begins lowercase) and appended to the first sentence left to the punctuation mark: " in the advanced options". In the second sentence of the first note must be replaced "Advanced button" by "gearwheel button".
The point 2 should be changed to: Select “Any single character (except newline)”
The point 3 should be changed to: Select “Zero or more preceding character/expression” – because the “any character” will repeat.
The point 5 should be changed to: Again, select “Any single character (except newline)” and “Zero or more preceding character/expression”.
That's it.
Best regards, Mofi
