The latest version of UE (2023.2, german, 64-bit) does not like 'ß'

Hello,

I have downloaded and installed the latest version of UltraEdit (2023.2.0.27, german, 64bit) from the website.
Since then, strangely enough, I can no longer enter 'ß'. All other characters work.
I had to reinstall the previous version (2023.1.0.23) to be able to use all characters again.
Has anyone noticed the same phenomenon?

I have already written to support.

Hi,

Answer and temporary solution from support:

1. Close UltraEdit
2. Open File Explorer
3. Go to C:\Program Files\IDM Computer Solutions\UltraEdit
4. Rename the "plugins" folder to "plugins_old"
5. Go to %APPDATA%\IDMComp\UltraEdit
6. Rename the "plugins" folder to "plugins_old"
7. Start UltraEdit

A definitive solution is being worked on.
So either keep the previous version for now or use the new version with slight restrictions (without plugin folder)
